Payment is due at time of service. In order to make paying for therapy more convenient I accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express, as well as cash and checks.
WeHo Psychology does not accept any insurance plans at this time. However, we do provide services as an out-of-network provider and many clients choose to use their out-of-network benefits. I am happy to provide you with a receipt of services (a “Super Bill”) for you to submit to your insurance company, should you choose to use insurance to pay for your therapy.
Using out-of-network insurance benefits can greatly reduce the cost of therapy. If you’ve never used out-of-network benefits to pay for therapy, here’s an overview of the process:
Typically, insurance plans reimburse anywhere from 40 – 70% of the total fee. Therefore, depending on the reimbursement rate, your net cost per session may be anywhere from $54 to $108 for a 50-minute session.
Because your appointment involves the reservation of time specifically for you, a minimum of 24 hours notice is required to reschedule or cancel an appointment. The full fee will be required for sessions missed without advance notice.
